Top with long sleeves high collar
Turquoise blue top in soft and shiny velvet, peach skin style, long sleeves and turtleneck, pretty retro look that reminds us of the 80s.
With velvet, choose simple and sober fabrics, cotton or jeans, which go perfectly with the latter.
For winter, all that is soft wool and cocooning knitwear go well with velvet for comfortable and warm outfits.
Over time, velvet became more modern and, above all, more democratic. Present on the ceremonial garments of François I up to the frock coat of the bourgeoisie, this fabric was not adopted by the workers until the nineteenth century. The latter then wear the Largeot trousers made of cotton or wool corduroy renowned for its warmth and durability. Closer to us, the seventies fall for the velvet failure and its light effects. Blazers, trousers and shorts are then cut from an ultra-coloured cotton fabric. Still as soft as ever, it is now machine washable and dries very quickly.
The Misericordia collection is a real reflection on Peru and Latin America, on the social, economic, historical, philosophical and cultural realities of the country and on how the country is linked to the rest of the world. Each piece of Misericordia carries within it emotions such as desire, sadness, humour, fear, but also music and the sincere motivation of our social and creative project.
The population of Peru faces its tensions between political ideologies, languages, religious beliefs, racial and ethnic identities, demographics, privileges, different communities, government and legislative bodies, not to mention the countless tensions that arise in the daily lives of Peruvians and on the very identity of Peru. To be in perfect harmony with the country, you have to learn to believe in your instincts and creativity. Lima can be the birthplace of your inspiration.
