Multi-color blue twisted marl cotton-blend sweater
This sweater is a simple easygoing style knitted in a subtle textured marl yarn. It is knitted from a premium peruvian cotton with a marled finish, in a resistant textured half milano stitch, very firm with characteristics closest to woven fabric. The combination of the warm milano stitch and cool cotton handfeel makes it an ideal jumper to take you through from spring into the warmer weather ahead.
This knitwear was made on old looms using punch cards (cardboard cards with holes). These punch cards are the software and they controlled our mechanical looms. Like in an organ, were punch cards control the organ pipes. This creates music. In a loom the punch cards contain information about the pattern to be woven. This principle was invented by the Frenchman Jacquard, for the silk industry in Lyon.
