ART – The Wari culture in the Quai Branly Museum!
Discovered in 2007 in the graves of the peninsula of Paracas (around 250Km from Lima on the Peruvian coast) these incredible pieces of the pre-Inca culture, the Wari-Kayan are honored in the Quai Branly Museum of Paris in 2008. The temporary exhibition shows wonderful tissue of a rare quality. Indeed the Museum shows civilization’s art from America, Asia, Oceania and Africa. This exhibition is also the beginning of a cooperation between the French Museum and the National Anthropology and History Museum of Peru in Lima in order to restore Peruvian and world’s patrimony elements.
